My older daughter and I were out on a walk in the woods with my two dogs (family dogs) today. She looked at her smartphone and said, "Hey. There's a Geocache about 1/4 mile up this trail. So, since it was up a fire road through the forest that my older dog won't get lost on I agreed. When we went there it turned out it was one she had visited before. She had decorated a 4 inch stick there with her boyfriend and had it named, "Fred, the Stick dude" probably after me. I said, "IF you made it can I keep it as a work of art?" since she is an excellent artist like my younger daughter too.
MY younger daughter just won a merit scholarship to a well known college on the west coast for her art. And one of my older daughter's majors since she is going back to college again too now is going to be in art as well.
So, "Fred, the stick dude" will be with other of my trinkets near my altar in my bedroom now.
