Weather reporters biggest concerns for Hawaii in present storms coming
Their biggest concern right now actually is if it hits the Mauna Kea mountain which is over 14,000 feet tall with monsoon rains. If that happens it could dump 10 or more inches at high altitudes and flood many people out below as the water gathers further down. So, this is a problem of the kind we sometimes have in California also because we also have a lot of 10,000 feet to 14,000 feet mountains and wherever you have this large difference in altitude you have to be very careful anywhere rivers or streams bring down large amounts of water so your children, homes or anything else doesn't start washing down the hills and valleys and out into the ocean. This appears to be the biggest danger at present. Of course, one never knows until this thing "Hurricane Iselle" hits.
