The previous article I find ridiculous because this is also true of all smartphones and always has been and likely always will be. It is a design flaw in all Smartphones.
So, unless you understand this you should never own a smartphone. But, if you realize literally anything you do or say likely could be or is being recorded by someone or some government on earth, and unless you know that literally anyone can turn on your video camera and microphone 24 hours a day when you are awake or asleep or doing literally anything nearby it you shouldn't own one.
Knowing this is empowering. If you don't know this about ALL Smartphones then you are vulnerable.
So, just know this: any smartphone can be and likely is being hacked by someone at some time for some purpose worldwide.
Knowing this might keep you safe. Because if you know this you see a smartphone for what it is and not some fantasy.
I own an IPhone5 which is likely the most vulnerable (Iphones). But, I own one because it is the most intuitive and easy to learn to use effectively. But, I also understand it is also the most vulnerable to hacking being an Iphone. So, I'm choosing to use the most vulnerable smartphone because it is easy to use.
However, I also realize it can and likely will be hacked at any time 24 hours a day. Knowing this protects me and knowing this will protect you too.
Because I know this there are only two things I do on a smartphone: make phone calls and text and that's it.
Oh and I use the alarms for medicines and appointments.
