The Pope on Climate change and human consumption of resources

Quote from PBS NEWSHOUR from the POPE:

"The pace of consumption, waste and environmental change has so stretched the planet's capacity that our contemporary lifestyle, unsustainable as it is, can only lead to precipitate catastrophes."

I completely agree with this. From all my research over the years I agree with this statement too.

For example, the main reason the Middle East is in Chaos is not ISIS it is overpopulation, the lack of birth control, not enough water or tillable land to care for the living now in the middle east and because of this not enough jobs for young men and women to marry (since they don't date). So, many young Sunni men never having had a job (or a date with a woman or even holding a woman's hand) join groups like ISIS that disrespect women, sell them as slaves to these young men.

And what really caused all this if you look deep enough? Global Climate change caused directly by overpopulation and not enough resources to allow everyone to live there. So, people are now doing what they did 2000 years ago, they kill whole tribes of people and whole nations that have different beliefs than they do.

However, this doesn't solve anything because you will have infinite revenge from the relatives left alive from all those murdered in horrible ways on all sides.

So, the only solution that actually could prevent further wars and further beheadings and torture is actually birth control because it is the only thing in the long run that might permanently stop these kinds of problems with 60 million people now homeless. (However, this figure might also be worldwide and not just the middle east).
