Clusterf---?

The problem that I see that could cause the most problems with the present stock downturns worldwide is feeding the refugees around the world. Often how AID groups do this is to invest money from donors and with the dividends from stocks or interest from banks buy food for refugees around the world. In this way the investment is the gift that just keeps on giving for 50 to 100 years or more.

At present though the declining markets will lessens dividend yields worldwide as stocks lose ground(at least in the short run). So, this likely is going to reduce food aid to world refugees without employment or homes or food.

I don't think less refugees from Syria, Iraq, Yemen and other Middle Eastern disaster areas will be able to escape by any means necessary.

The problem likely is going to be on the other end when they get to their destinations in places like Greece or other European countries and won't get enough food to survive. So, I think starvation and food riots among refugees that survive the crossing from the Middle East on leaky boats to Europe might be the biggest problem caused by millions of people being in this position right now in Europe or starving while on their way to Europe.
