Storm doesn't look like much right now but the cold is for real In North West
There are places where temperatures in the North West will drop at least 30 degrees starting yesterday by Tuesday. So, whether the storm is much or not. (It doesn't look like much right now on the weather radar). However, with it this cold with any precipitation at all it could make Freeways and all pavement a black ice disaster if people don't know what to look for throughout the Northwest. IF you know for sure what you are looking at that is one thing but if you don't expect black ice it's really a problem for drivers of all kinds of vehicles in the North west north and East of Redding California all the way up Interstate 5 to Canada.
