Or what some highly sensitive people are like growing up:
Often they can literally SEE the spirits of lakes and mountains and oceans and see angels, especially relatives who have passed over returning to help them.
Processing all this is difficult because most people don't have these abilities and if people growing up aren't around relatives who also have these abilities bad things can happen to their survival.
Many of the very brightest and most talented creative people on earth are like this by the way.
It is a survival trait for all species of mammals including humans to have at least 20% to 30% of their numbers like this.
Because of their sensitivities they sense danger of all kinds sooner than the rest.
A good example of this would be people who were highly sensitive in the 1950s, 1960s and 1970s and so on that started Earth Day including Rachel Carson with "Silent Spring" were likely Highly sensitive people who saw the dangers to wild life as most hawks and birds started to go extinct in the U.S. during the 1950s from DDT.
And like Bees are more slowly going extinct from neurotoxins in herbicides and insecticides used on crops. (herbicides are usually used before planting to kill the weeds so food seeds don't have to compete with weeds for water and ground.)
So, as a highly sensitive person it doesn't mean you are not extroverted. What it does mean is being an extrovert (which could be your natural tendency) might be pretty overwhelming but true to your nature.
My father was valedictorian of his senior High School Class and extremely extroverted but was also I would say a highly sensitive person. My mother was also a highly sensitive person but was shy like I can sometimes be. Even though I would say I can be flamboyant and extroverted or I can be shy and reserved depending upon how I'm feeling that moment or year.
This last year has been physically and psychologically overwhelming because of many things including surviving a burst appendix in late March and April and all the emotional and physical PTSD that often accompanies operations of all kinds in one's life.
Death isn't something I fear because I understand exactly what it is more than most people seem to. So, though I don't fear death I do fear the embarrassment of being "jittery" from sensory overload sometimes this year.
It interferes with my bluster and Macho that I grew up with.
One of the single most important things that was very hard for someone as empathic as me to learn was to be able in my mind, "not out loud" to be able to say to people "Fuck You!" and mean it when they wanted to harm or kill me in my life.
Somehow the kindness and empathy I developed from suffering from whooping cough and childhood epilepsy made me fearless. So, I wasn't like most people since I never have been afraid of dying. Because I have experienced death and I'm still here.
But, the other reason is for whatever the reason God let me see heaven realms so I came to understand what they are in actuality.
What I learned most people might be surprised about. There are heaven realms for all religions and people who understand that there are thousands to millions of different heavens just around earth (as well as other places people or beings incarnate in this and thousands to millions of other galaxies in the known and unknown universe.
So, because of this I know from first hand experience whenever they say that their religion or cult are the only ones going to heaven that this is a dangerous lie they are telling their people only to squeeze money out of them.
Because the reality is that most people go to heaven after this lifetime.
So, the statement, "Judge not lest ye be judged is much more important than most people think!"
I think if people realized about the heavens religious wars would end overnight. Because really there is nothing to fight about.
If you are fighting regarding heaven then you are making a really big mistake in the eyes of God.
Because in the end every living thing from human to animal to bird to insect and beyond is a child of God and a natural part of god. So, if you kill any child of God there is a penalty likely for this.
To the best of my ability I write about my experience of the Universe Past, Present and Future
