2012

Many people including myself thought something interesting was going to happen on earth in 2012. However, in actuality the most interesting thing I think that happened that year is we started to emerge from the Great Recession here in the U.S.

I think the important things happening on earth aren't going to be seen on TV or in the news or possibly even be blogged about. The most important things likely are the good things that happen in every family and home around the world.

From this perspective all the chaos and death is the opposite of what is actually important that actually happens on earth. The fact that life is as good as it is in the U.S. instead of what it was during the 1930 with millions of people starving without jobs is a good thing.

That people tend to have jobs (even if they are working at MacDonalds or Burger King and the unemployment is about 5% and that's all is a good thing. They all should have better jobs and be making more money but if you have enough to eat, that's a good thing too.

Many countries can't say this about their people, that mostly they have enough to eat like we can here in the U.S.

The important things are about families that stay together or that break up and stay alive without killing each other.

The important things are about people surviving and not about people suffering and dying.

Because in the end that's all that's left here on earth: The Survivors--------

If you aren't one of the survivors then you just aren't on earth anymore and often forgotten within 10 to 20 years.

So, for now, rejoice because you are one of the survivors and eventually hopefully your children will be survivors to: and theirs and theirs and theirs.
