Though the primary cause of the Proxy war in Yemen is Iran, you can almost hear Iran laughing in the background at the plight of what they are causing there to Saudi Arabia (as well as to the people of Yemen and to the U.S. and Great Britain).
What most people aren't hearing about is that the conditions of people in Yemen are even worse than the conditions of people in Syria. Saudi Arabia is constantly bombing the people of Yemen who are even poorer than the people of Syria and they are enduring an even worse plight than what is happening in Syria.
What is causing this?
Iran arming the Houthis against all Sunnis.
However, the end result of this is a complete mess of pain and death and suffering.
Because Saudi Arabia cannot allow Houthis on it's border it has to bomb incessantly Houthi forces as they near it's border. This causes incredibly amounts of Houthi civilians to die in the process. Because just like ISIS soldiers are hidden among civilians, Houthi Shiite Soldiers do the same.
So, Saudi Arabia cannot bomb Houthi soldiers without killing mostly civilians near them. So, the carnage goes on and one with bombing from jet fighters from the ski every day.
What does this have to do with the slow painful death of oil?
Everything. Because the West's relationship with Saudi Oil is tied directly into this war. The western alliances with Saudi Arabia, Kuwait and other oil producing Gulf states that are Sunni governed ties directly into the problems in Yemen.
As solar becomes more and more competitive with Oil around the world during the next 10 years, eventually oil will die and become mostly used for plastics and lubrication over time.
And the geopolitical consequences of all this likely will be huge as well.
