Of course this is just the polls today.
My wife thinks the election will be really close sort of like where in 2000 Gore won the popular vote but the Supreme court put in Bush even though he didn't win the popular vote.
So, she thinks it could go either way (depending upon how many terrorist acts take place around the election day). I agree. I think if things are peaceful enough Hillary will win but if something really bad happens worldwide likely Trump would win and that would be the permanent end of our democracy I believe at that point. There has never been a more dangerous candidate to the ongoing existence of our democracy than Trump. He is the candidate most likely ever in my lifetime to suspend the supreme court and the Congress and crown himself emperor. It's the only way he could do any or all of the things he wants to. And I don't think he is loyal to us being a democracy. At the very least he would declare martial law and suspend all rights for up to a year and suspend the Supreme court and Congress for up to one year while he through executive actions changed everything to the way he wants it to be including suspending the capacity for Muslims to visit or enter the U.S.
The problem with this is this likely would be what ISIS and Al Qaeda needs to bring 1 billion Muslims to arms against the U.S. This is the real problem with thinking in this way.
To the best of my ability I write about my experience of the Universe Past, Present and Future
