There are good and bad things to every presidency but I think what Trump's voters are saying to the world is: "What have you done for us lately?" to everyone on earth.
It's sort of like this:
"We Americans have saved everyond's ass on earth since World War II. We dedicated our nation to doing this. We can't do this anymore because of the 6 trillion dollars we spent in Iraq and Afghanistan because of 9-11 and everything that came after. So what have you world done for us lately?"
This is the logic of the voters that voted for Trump. He is the first president like this since World War II to think like this. When world war II ended we were the only large nation left standing that war had not come into and destroyed to one degree or another so America took on the role of Daddy or Grandfather to the world.
In other words we rescued the whole world after World War II by loaning money and by making goods when others couldn't including shipping great amounts of food to starving people worldwide ever since.
We can't do that as much anymore for a lot of reasons so "World! What have you done for us lately?"
This is what Trump is asking of the world. He is not asking to lead the world he only wants the world to help us as much as we helped them all these years.
So, this is going to be like a monkey wrench into world affairs and likely 10 million more will likely starve to death just from his stance. But, this is where things appear to be going right now.
What have you done for us lately?
To the best of my ability I write about my experience of the Universe Past, Present and Future
