Yes. This is a direct possibility.
Why?
Because IF North Korean nuclear hydrogen bomb testing doesn't blow North Korea out of the water and if the North Korean Hydrogen bomb test they plan over the Pacific Ocean (can you believe this?) goes okay without triggering a nuclear war then if war happens between North Korea and U.S. and it's allies around the world this could make people more aware of what nuclear weapons do in reality and cause people to be more realistic about the problems they create.
Most of the people who saw Hiroshima, Nagasaki nukes go off or nuclear testing in Nevada are mostly dead now. So they can't talk to the rest of us about just how horrific all that was in many different ways.
So, if a nuclear war happens and anyone survives this on earth then maybe it will help for the next 70 years for people not to use nuclear weapons once again.
So, maybe only the deaths of 10 to 25 million people or more is going to make people around the world as realistic as they had to be after World War II once again.
Reality is horrific when nukes go off (it isn't a video game it's people you know or know of dying by the millions).
To the best of my ability I write about my experience of the Universe Past, Present and Future
