I just heard a Hong Kong Coronavirus specialist talk about this. What he said was that masks could be useful for people to wear who don't know that they are carriers even if they don't get the coronavirus to keep them spreading it to others.
This is a pretty interesting thought which might mean on the west coast more people might start wearing masks to protect others in case they are carriers but don't get the coronavirus. This could eventually be true all across the U.S. and World.
To the best of my ability I write about my experience of the Universe Past, Present and Future
