This will help Landlords from going bankrupt and renters by not having to go homeless during these times.
There are many different kinds of landlords and many this is their only source of income. So, not allowing landlords (like it is nationwide now) to evict those who don't pay them (if they file the right forms) can put many landlords into bankruptcy rather quickly because many depend upon those rents to feed themselves and their children too. So, helping both landlords and renters makes a whole lot of sense to me even if it is through tax credits for the landlords. This helps solve the problem at least on a yearly basis.
