If you come here often you will notice that the main links that display at the top of the page stay somewhat constant. This is because it is based upon the number of hits per article in any given month. Now, the number of hits is a lot during the month and so it is unlikely to change that much especially if someone just clicks 100 times on an article just for one reason or another. So, this is a way to understand this.
But, when I given you an actual links page I cannot know what time period these are for because they no longer tell me. But, given what it was before they changed the Blogspot operating system this meant one weeks time. So, I'm supposing that it still means that instead of one months time like the top links on my page. So, if you read my links pages they likely are based upon 1 weeks hits at these articles.
However, if you look to the left all these articles are most read articles of mine in last 13 or almost 14 years now which is a completely different thing.
For example, until around 2011 this was my most read article which was interesting to me at the time:
