Because they are like Big Sails in the sky and not shaped like birds like most other airships. So, if there is a big wind it isn't safe to fly in them, the same during storms. So, even though you reduce your carbon imprint you also reduce your speeds and you also reduce your safety. Because a regular Airplane is more safe than traveling on a freeway in a car (statistically). However, the larger the wind or wind gust in something like this the less safe it will be. And 81 miles per hour under ideal conditions doesn't make me want to fly in this thing. I think I would feel about as safe in something like this as a hot air balloon. That would be about the same level of safety. And at least in a hot air balloon you might wear a parachute or paraglider so you could jump out in an emergency and still live. If you were young and were given a parachute or a paraglider backpack maybe it might be okay so you could jump out if you needed to.
To the best of my ability I write about my experience of the Universe Past, Present and Future
