Yes. This is true because warmer air holds more moisture than colder air. So, as the air warms it can contain more water vapor too. This change often results in more flooding some places and more droughts other places because the warmer air also tends to drop it's moisture(in the form of rain, snow etc) in different places than colder air does. So, this changes rain and snow patterns worldwide as well.
