For me, it was a long road to get there with a lot of suffering on the way.
I had been raised in a religion where Jesus and Saint Germain were seen as brothers ushering in the new Age of Aquarius.
Jesus brought Forgiveness
And Saint Germain brought Freedom
You need both in order to have a good civilization like we have now here in the U.S.
It's true no civilization is perfect. If you travel around the world you know this like I do.
However, there are more useful positive things I have to say about American Culture and American Life than I have to say about any other culture on earth.
But, then again I was raised in Washington where I was born and after age 4 I lived mostly in California with a year or two in Santa Fe, New Mexico and Hawaii along the way.
However, being a west coast boy when I travel to even places like the East Coast or Hawaii there is the feeling a lot of being in a foreign country. You don't feel this in Hawaii as a tourist but you definitely do if you ever lived there and are from the mainland and not a native.
And on the east coast I feel often confused by people's attitudes because I'm used to something completely different in California, Oregon and Washington where most of my friends and relatives live.
So, for me, Tibetan Buddhism became interesting to me when I read "My Life in Tibet" by Edwin John Dingle with my father. We also went to the Science of Mentalphysics which was near where my father and I built a retirement home for him and Mom near Yucca Valley, California. Science of Mentalphysics in in Joshua Tree and designed by Frank Lloyd Wright a very famous architect in his era.
After reading about a Tibetan Lama who grew an orange tree from a seed in his hand I was interested in Tibetan Buddhism.
So, when I actually got to meet Tibetan Lamas in California, Oregon and Nepal and India, orange trees growing in the palm of someone's hand wasn't what I experienced but many other amazing things instead.
What I understood is first if you want to study with Tibetan Lamas that they will test you to see if you have developed compassion yet for all life in the universe. Because otherwise, if they teach you it would be bad for everyone including you to teach you the more powerful aspects of Tibetan Buddhism.
What I found was that the teachings of Tibetan Buddhism MIGHT BE the most powerful teachings I have ever studied.
However, unless you have infinite compassion for all life in the universe if you use these teachings, you and other people might die.
But, I could also say this about powerful Mystical Christian teachings too or powerful Sufi Teachings or even powerful Hindu Teachings or powerful Shamanic Teachings.
So, enlightenment is Completely dependent upon developing compassion for all life in the Universe first. Otherwise powerful teachings are ONLY going to kill you and others or worse along the way.
So, start with developing compassion for all beings in the universe as if they were your mother or children first before you study powerful things.
The ONLY way you can survive these kinds of teachings is to be a parent or Grandparent to all life in the universe.
By God's Grace
