Our Souls, which I have discovered are a non-physical species who live on energy and don't have to breathe air or eat physical food because they are not physical to begin with incarnate on earth mostly because these are very old Creators like you and I. So, in order to not get so bored we die of boredom we take incarnations here on earth to value still being alive as a soul enough to keep on going. Mostly only boredom can kill a creator soul over time (even though they don't usually live in time and space at all unless clothed with a physical body like a human being here on earth.
So, earth is mostly a retirement community of very very old Creator souls at this point in time here on the 2nd timeline.
Younger Creator souls sometimes incarnate here to visit their grandparents so this happens too.
It used to be that only Older Souls took physical incarnation as human beings. However, the present Galactic Sentience created a new precedent where younger souls now also visit their grandparents here on earth and wear physical human bodies too.
So, the amount of experience and wisdom potentially present here on earth is sort of "Off the Charts" in this Galaxy.

(Old Creators means they are literally billions of years old maybe older than this galaxy itself).
But, on one level this has no meaning because Creators don't naturally live in Time and space unless clothed in a physical body as a human being or other physical being somewhere in this galaxy or another.
