We are going to need oil for plastic so it's good we are switching to other fuels worldwide now

Oil for plastic is important even though many things plastic need to be recycled not to completely mess up the flora and fauna and oceans of earth.

So, I suppose using electricity is one answer for moving vehicles. However, on one level this is kind of ridiculous simply because most electricity (at least on the West Coast of the U.S.) comes directly from Natural Gas not solar (at least at this point). But, it's also true that some places like Palm Springs are completely supplied (ONLY) with solar power from their large group of Wind Generators. Because the winds blow down the Valley between San Jacinto Mountain and San Gorgonio mountain usually over 20 mph year around heading southwards out into the desert there. Sometimes they blow a whole lot more than that too so be careful traveling through there especially when sand starts to blow because it can sandpaper your windshield to the point where you might not be able to see to drive.

So, finding ways to use Oil only for Plastics might be important about now with reserves running low around the world everywhere from Saudi Arabia to the U.S. (I think the U.S. has many more oil deposits left than the Middle East by the way (unless more deposits are eventually found there or worldwide.

So, conserving oil for plastics and other uses might be important. Though Synthetic Oil is also used which might not contain oil (not sure) oil as a lubricant for many things mechanical also that we need to use including robots of various kinds used for things like building Tesla cars for example. (even though robots usually have some hydraulics too to move around and lift heavy things (like cars for example).
