Because Factories need to count on things 3,5, 10 years out to make useful decisions.
Trump is Old and could die any moment. a 78 year old man only has a 50 50 chance of being alive even the next day let alone be considered to be not having senile dementia which could be one of the causes of him being so into tariffs.
The easiest way to look at this is that Trump is POWER MAD and wants power over everyone on earth like a king would.
Because Tariffs at this level are not sane for anyone on earth at all.
So, factories are NOT going to move simply because Trump is just too old and senile to take seriously about all this for more than just today and that's all.
