If you need fire insurance from San Diego to Santa Barbara you might be out of luck. Why?

Because Fire insurance rates have gone up 4 to 5 times for most dwellings now (from Commercial to residential).

So, I suppose if your home is paid for you could just not get fire insurance (but what happens if your house burns down then?

So, let's say you were paying 5000 to 6000 dollars a year for Fire Insurance you likely are going to pay at least 4 times that now or (20,000 to 30,000 dollars a year for Fire Insurance for your home)

And if you were already paying 15,000 to 20,000 dollars a year for a really expensive home you now are going to likely have to pay 4 times that which is 60,000 dollars to 80,000 dollars for JUST Fire insurance.

And that doesn't include liability insurance or flood insurance either which then could spike it up to 100,000 to 120,000 dollars a year for all the types of insurance you now need from Santa Barbara to San Diego on any house you are buying with a mortgage.

So, buckle up it's going to be a really rough year for a lot of people from Santa Barbara to San Diego because of the Pacific Palisades fire and the Eaton Fire which is costing Insurance companies billions and billions of Dollars in fire insurance payouts.
