It's sort of like Cannon barrages. One side (Trump) can set off a cannon barrage (The Trade War) but then other people (all nations on earth) can also tell Trump to go fuck himself and harm the U.S. in all sorts of ways both legal and illegal as well as waging a violent war against the U.S.
Trump is completely unrealistic about how all this is going to turn out.
In my own life I have always found "Live and let Live" to be the wisest way to stay alive.
When your philosophy is like Trump which is "Live and let Die" you might be the one dying (as in Trump and Vance and Musk).
This is just understanding the world the way it really is and not in some theory of how things are supposed to work but don't.
People are pretty predictable.
If you treat them badly (like Trump is treating people badly now) people will treat who treats them badly badly too.
What Trump is doing I consider to be SUICIDAL FOR AMERICA! (At least in the short run until Trump is gone (one way or another).
Then everything might go back to what it was before (or something entirely new we have never seen before).
