I needed some humor tonight so I'm watching Paul(2011) which is written by Simon Pegg and his friend Nick Frost. If you haven't ever seen this movie before it is a classically funny movie about a UFO named Paul who has lived in the U.S. for 60 years confined by the U.S. Government somewhere until he meets Simon Pegg and Nick Frost in the characters they play. They meet him in Nevada somewhere.
I find whenever I want to cheer up I watch this movie, especially times when the government lies like it is now (however, there has really only been one period where UFO stuff was allowed out much which was (from the fall of the Berlin Wall until 9-11-2001 when the twin towers came down in NYC.)
So, some of the best non-fiction books on UFOs I have found are by Timothy Good and by Colonel Corso.
The Day after Roswell is likely the best book on UFOS I have found so far. However, it is written from a very far to the right point of view which reminds me a lot of how the 1950s were. However, because it is a very 1950s military point of view this also makes sense because the military often were the only ones allowed to see this stuff at all on pain of death. Many Americans died or just disappeared between 1947 and the present but especially between 1947 and around 1990 when the Berlin Wall fell because of things they knew about UFOs.

A landmark expose firmly grounded in fact, The Day After Roswell ends the decades-old controversy surrounding the mysterious crash of an unidentified aircraft.

It's
interesting to see the new, recent UAP videos, etc behave in a way that
guys like Corso describe in a book 20 (?) Years prior‑ i.e. they go
from air thru water without missing a beat. ...
