10 feet of snow at the highest elevations in the Sierras and 7 feet of snow likely above 5000 feet to 6000 feet too which is good for "Drinking Water" the rest of the year until next rainy season here on California. We really depend upon the Snow pack all over California in the Sierras to carry us through until the next rainy season. The slow melting Snow is what allows us to have water all over the state from about July and August until the next rains fall usually sometime after September or October of every year here in California. There is usually no rain much at all between May and September here in California because the state is almost half desert to begin with from Palm Springs all way to the Arizona a border and north from there to LasVegas and Beyond.
