Theodore Roosevelt National Park has 3 units, north, south, and elkhorn ranch. The south unit tends to be more visited than the north unit but we think both units are absolutely worth the visit even though they are about 1 hour away from each other! The elkhorn ranch unit is more historical as it’s the location is where Theodore Roosevelt lived for a time, but there are no visitor centers or trails. ⬇️South Unit Favo

We love this National Park and all its rugged beauty. It never fails we see all the different wildlife when we either hike or do the scenic drive. The bison are always a favorite. Remember though that you never approach the wildlife. In this video I was zooming in AND we were in our truck.
