Compassion and Kindness are the Basis of human civilization

So, without kindness and compassion we are all like animals eating each other alive for food.

When I was really young and didn't realize how different I was than most people were I used to hear other people's minds especially relatives and friends. I tended to think of adults as all liars hearing their thoughts as a two and 3 year old because they thought one thing and then they said or did another.

It took me until I was 15 years old to finally realize it wasn't lying as such but it was really trying to be polite so everyone didn't harm or kill each other. Especially in the 1950s after World War II people in general were much more prone to violent actions and reactions (both men and women then) because of the Great Depression and World War II and seeing so many people die that they loved either from STarvation in the Great Depression or from dying during the war for World War II.

So, there was this EDGE to people like a sharp knife more in the 1950s than later in the 1980s and 1990s. And the Viet Nam War and before that the Korean War didn't help this at all either.

So, starting around the 1970s people began to be more polite and civil again and now under Trump and his example people are becoming more uncivil and more racist under his example which is helping end Civilization (at least as we knew civilization to be from the 1970s until 2016 when Trump was first elected.

So, the first time he was an anomaly but the second time we could see just how gullible and self destructive (like Alcoholics) people could be as voters in electing someone this harmful to mankind in general.

There is this thing in humans where there is a lot of self destructiveness especially in men.

This is because being a man is very hard (and being a woman is very hard in a completely different way).

So, often the differences make men and women more at odds with each other than they should be.

So, demonstrating kindness to yourself and to all the beings around you you become a beacon of civilization during a time of world chaos partly caused by Trump and Putin and Xi and Iran and Kim Jong Un.

So, understanding how important our compassionate civilizing behavior is upon everyone we meet is not to be underestimated.

You don't really know how many people have already chosen to stay alive another day simply because they met you or just saw you on the street being compassionate to yourself or others or both.
