Most Cabs seem to be off for Labor Day today. So, i had to wait about an hour for a taxi which seemed a little bit unusual just to get about 4 miles from where I'm staying to pick up a rental Car?
But, after I got there it all went pretty smoothly. For me, because I'm very tall I need a car I can fit my legs into with enough head room too but they found one for me so this is good too.
So, outside of the rain and waiting at my hotel in the lobby for an hour for a taxi to day has gone pretty well so far.
Then on top of this to take and drop off car to Airport rather than local rental place they want an extra 100 or so dollars to do this which is about the same cost as a taxi to or from the Portland Airport from where I'm staying too. So, I opted for returning to the airport in the rental car because this just makes more sense on many different levels.
