Arsenic in Apple Juice?
For those of you who don't know why there is arsenic in Apple juice, arsenic is in apple seeds to prevent animals and insects from eating them. Therefore, if you don't want arsenic in apple juice you have to core the apples before you juice them in order to remove the seeds that contain arsenic. In fact, some people, (although I bet not successfully) have tried to off themselves by keeping all the apple seeds from all the apples they eat and then eating the seeds all at once. However, I have never heard of a single successful suicide from eating apple seeds. So, if you are making organic apple juice at home remember to core the apples so you and your children aren't drinking apple and arsenic juice.
