This is from Wikipedia. Although I think my father's U.S. Marine Corps Hellcat Biplane was painted Yellow this likely is how he dressed as a gunner on the biplane from 1934 to 1937 in the U.S. Marine Corps Reserves in Seattle, Washington. He mentioned that you sat on your parachute while flying in the plane.
