Before Asymmetrical war became as popular as it has since the American Revolution in 1776 it was punishable by death to be misrepresenting yourself. In other words if you were army or military personnel of a specific nation out of uniform while acting in that capacity you could be shot as a spy.
But, if you have thousands of people (16,000 in Ukraine) or more like this who people understand likely are secretive Russian Army Units but they don't identify themselves as such. What are they?
Putin denies they are Russian Army or special forces. But, most people assume they are regular or special forces from the Russian Military.
But, if Putin denies this could he take over Crimea or Ukraine permanently using this guise ongoing?
Today, 15 men in unmarked army fatiques stopped a UN representative in Ukraine from going about his business. Who are the men who did this? Are they local militia or Russian regulars.
Is this the nature of warfare in the future where everything is unknown and people can lie about everything?
In addition to this, Russia is considering confiscating all foreign businesses in now in Russia and all their property and goods in retaliation for U.S. confiscation of Russian goods in Europe, England, the U.S. and Canada.
This is one reason Angela Merkel has been reluctant to punish Russia economically, because of all the EU businesses that could be confiscated along with their monies and other resources in Russia these days.
Are we going from a global economy back to a 2nd Iron Curtain between Russia and the West?
