It seems the Russians have benefited from lessons learned from worldwide terrorist groups in asymmetric warfare.
There is a story about cooking lobsters that I think is relevant here:
"If you put a lobster in boiling water he will jump right out. But, if you put the lobster in cold water and turn the burner on under the pot there will be no single point where that lobster will jump out and save himself."
The world is that lobster and Russia is providing the pot and the cold water now and unfortunately there will be no single moment when the world or Ukraine will save itself.
So, obviously a new type of strategy for dealing with a nuclear armed former superpower like Russia by the world is now needed. Especially, if this former superpower is lead by someone like Putin who appears to have no useful boundaries sort of like Terrorists like ISIS in Syria.
We aren't dealing with normal warfare here so no normal response will work, only asymmetrical responses will work here just like dealing with terrorists like ISIS in Syria and Iraq.
We, Ukraine and the world together must jump out of the pot or we all will be cooked.
Remember what happened with Hitler!
Is Putin another Hitler on the world stage?
It all depends upon what the world does next(or doesn't do next).
To the best of my ability I write about my experience of the Universe Past, Present and Future
