Drove to Airport
My youngest daughter and I drove my older daughter to the airport as she was flying back home to Portland. My youngest daughter is 18 and we have some trouble communicating. I'm not always sure why this is. I'm thinking it is because she has gone to private schools since she was 7 but it also could be just the different styles of communication since I grew up in the 1950s mostly and was 21 in 1969. So, since she was born in 96 it means I turned 48 the year she was born. So, maybe it's just because I'm a an old dinosaur now and she is 18 and spent everything but kindergarten and first grade in private schools. But, I have noticed because I'm not one to give up when it is important that our communication is slowly getting better since it hit the worst point when she was about 15. However, we got along great until she was 12.
