This is one of the many sayings of the Buddha and why this is a superior philosophical system of thought.
Because if you take this in then you also understand why there are 49,000 correct paths in Buddhism (This is true in Tibetan Buddhism but also might be true in some or all types of Buddhism).
In understanding that there are 49,000 ways to heaven and enlightenment one understands that all compassionate systems of thought and spirituality and religion can take one to heaven. (or to the heaven they would normally like to be in when earthly life is over).
However, as an intuitive I discovered in my teens that there are literally millions of heavens for all religions, spiritual inclinations, philosophies and individuals who find themselves compassionate to themselves and the life around them.
This was an amazing discovery for me and made me sad I couldn't share this ecstatic realization with others at the time.
IF others are happy where they are it also makes me a little happier in my life here on earth just knowing about this.
To the best of my ability I write about my experience of the Universe Past, Present and Future
