LIghtning and thunder and Rain
What's left of Hurricane Delores is now a bunch of rain storms hitting California and other western states. As the front moved north to northern California in the early morning hours lightning began to strike about 10 to 20 miles away from us and began to move closer and then it rained here a little. Now as I look at the weather radar it looks like we will get another cloudburst pretty soon as it is headed north to Big Sur and points north up into San Francisco raining pretty hard along the way. The lightning concerned me a lot because often lightning in the summer time creates fires that can be problems throughout California. So, that is the main concern right now. However, as we drove out this morning the air felt like Hawaii (very very moist and warm) like the tropics. So, this was even more amazingly humid than it has already been all summer here.
