89 degrees today and 91 tomorrow in Portland, Oregon
It seems a little warm for Portland but I know it was into triple digits in Portland earlier this summer already. As we came back from visiting my daughter and her boyfriend's place at 9:30 pm people were still traipsing by with bathing suits on from a public pool walking home. Mostly this is because most people don't even have air conditioners here because this summer has been a fluke for them it has been so very hot. I bought an air conditioner for my daughter earlier this summer when it went into the 100s Fahrenheit here in Portland. Where we live on the Northern California coast most of the time it is under 75 or 80 degrees all summer long because the heat inland draws in the fog (high and low) off the ocean and keeps it cooler. But, here we are about 2 days drive north of there and it's 89 today and 91 tomorrow. Pretty amazing.
