I met people who had come across the U.S. in Covered wagons before the Railroads were put in. I saw people who had fought in the Civil War who were 90 or 100 then too. I talked with people who never rode in a Car until the 1900s but were born as early as 1840. The people in the 1950s were very different in their thinking than now. People then more had what is the prevalent Republican view now. However, now people think more in general like Democrats when you meet them most places in the U.S. Only the richest most conservative people think like people mostly did who were educated in the 1950s.
So, I have watched the world change drastically since the 1950s, sometimes for the better and also often for the worse. The chaos of these times is often just as chaotic or moreso than the chaos of the 1950s worldwide.
The biggest difference is more people worldwide are educated and more people (by far) worldwide know what is going on worldwide now because of news and social media.
But, in some ways the world is much more confusing now than it ever was. Because there are now so many more choices available to people often they just break down under the choices.
So, this creates the chaos of not knowing who to believe in these choices.
There are many well meaning people out there but most of them are just going to lead you over a cliff to your death. Well meaning or not, most people don't have enough sense to come in out of the rain.
This is the same as it always was.
So, though it is good if people have a good heart, you also need to think about whether they have common sense too.
Because like Einstein Said, "Intelligence isn't very helpful if you don't also have common sense"
Because without common sense intelligence just gets you dead or maimed just like ignorance does.
To the best of my ability I write about my experience of the Universe Past, Present and Future
