Knowing that being alive in a human body and being dead is pretty much the same thing. You might miss the people here still alive but often you can visit them in their dreams still. So, death really isn't something to fear if you understand your place in the universe and act accordingly. So, generally peace is something I experience some or all of the time because I not only intellectually understand this I have also experienced it various times during my life.
My life sometimes reminds me of many Lazarus kinds of experiences of dying and being reborn into the same body. So, death lost it's fear for me by the time I was 15 years of age. Life (living in a human body on earth is far more scary than dying because usually you don't create bad karma when you are dead already. Only when you are alive in a body normally do you gain bad karma (or good karma for that matter either).
So, death is the opposite of scary for me in this because it brings a relief from the ability to create bad karma by accident.
Is life Good?
Is Death Good?
The are both equal in my eyes.
However, I never likely would kill myself because I realize my body is "Just a loaner from God" so I don't even own this body it belongs to God really in the first place. So, taking care of it is what I'm supposed to do with it.
I see each human body as a vehicle sort of like a car that a soul lives in but the purpose of it is to help and to bless all life and all life forms you become aware of. So, having fun blessing all life forms around us is really a fun job if you can get into it.
