Rather Than Defeat ISIS, Kurds Are Turning on Shiites
It's not just retreating or dying ISIS fighters who are killing Mosul's civilians in droves. They are also being murdered by Shiite Militias from Baghdad too. So in this context Kurds seeing Shiite Militias killing Mosul residents might make the Kurds shoot the Shiite Militias to stop them killing Mosul residents mostly who are Sunni but many are also Kurds there too. Because there are Christian Kurds, Shiite Kurds and Sunni Kurds.
