Methane Damages upper atmosphere of earth much more than chlorofluorocarbons
Today the Trump Administration did away with a law by the Obama Administration to monitor Methane emissions here in the U.S. This gives companies free reign to throw up methane into the sky as much as they want to. When you drill for oil often methane comes up out of the ground too when you hit oil because oil is dead dinosaurs and everything since then decaying underground, so of course you are going to have methane just like you do from cattle, sheep, pig and other herds feces worldwide. But, the concentrations are likely higher from oil coming out of the ground. We have another problem in that Global Warming is releasing not only methane from drilling for oil but also methane from melting permafrost so global warming is drastically changing the upper atmosphere of earth so our atmosphere protects us much less by the day from things like skin cancer and other problems. It also makes it more necessary to wear sunglasses so you don't get skin cancer on your eye retinas which can be fatal too. President Jimmy Carter had to be treated for this recently.
