• This is an interesting view of how robots are viewed in Japan. In the U.S. we think more of "Terminator" but because of cartoons in growing up in Japan robots are thought more of as "Friends" in the Japanese culture. So, because they are thought of as friends this is demonstrated in the culture generally now. So, likely more robots will be seen in Japan now and in the future than anywhere else on earth and this cultural view will be exported eventually more and more to other countries that are open to it as well.
