So, for example, if someone would have lived let's say 75 years living indoors in a home with friends and family that same person would only live 50 to 55 years on the streets.
Hawaii has the highest rate of Homelessness in the U.S. at 51 per 10,000 people
New York is 2nd with 45 per 10,000 people
And California and Oregon are 3rd with 34 per 10,000 people.
For example, on a single night in 2017 there were 553, 742 people homeless in the U.S.
So, if someone had really good genetics and that might have lived to 90 or 100 indoors they might live on the streets to between 65 and 75 years of age.
