I think it's because my ancestors were pioneers since they came to America in 1725 and landed in Philadelphia after traveling up river in their ship from England to this destination. So many people died along the way that who ever survived had to be pretty tough to get to here from all that and traveling across the U.S. as pioneers first to Kansas where my Great Grandfather was a Captain for the northern Army in the Civil War from 1860 to 1865. Then my grandfather after being a pitcher for a baseball team in Kansas became an electrician because he believed that was an up and coming trade. He was born in the late 1870s in Kansas. My Uncle Bob was born in 1912 and my Dad was next in line and born in 1916 and he passed away in 1985 in the summer. But, it took all these strong people to get to me and to help me survive growing up too. And we all tend to deal with physical crises of various kinds better than most people tend to I've noticed. It's just a family trait of being very intense when we need to be to solve whatever problems arise in our lives. It took a great deal to survive everything from 1725 in Philadelphia until today for my family to still be here in one piece already. Most of my family that is still alive lives in Washington state, Oregon or California that sprang from my Grandfather who was born in Kansas in the 1870s.
To the best of my ability I write about my experience of the Universe Past, Present and Future
