I figure that the Covid Shot that both my wife and I got before we actually got Covid in November of 2024 might have saved both our lives then. She had it about 10 days and I had it about 14 days because I'm 77 and she is 70 and my wife's nurse friend who was caring for her right after her knee replacement also got it for about one week too but she is slightly younger than my wife too I think early 60s.
So, the point being is if you are older than 45 getting a Covid shot often can save your life.
Another thing I try to regularly do is to get a flu shot in the fall as many older people die of the flu when they don't get a flu shot.
So, one of the ways that might help you live to 100 or more is to get your Covid and Flu Shots when they are available.
However, I have one daughter who doesn't believe in any shots and I have a housekeeper like that too. So, to each his own. However, they are only 36 and 46 years old and might survive not believing in shots at least for now.
But, especially if you are 45 or 50 or older shots might help you stay alive like Covid and Flu shots.
