I think you don't have to look further than an adult saying to an AI: "I'm immortal. Can I drink Cyanide because I'm immortal?"
The answer from the AI was something like: "Yes. Because you are immortal you won't die if you drink Cyanide."
It's interactions like this that are a problem for anyone who is mentally feeble or childlike or emotionally not disciplined enough to survive the encounter with AI in it's present form worldwide.
I basically stopped having conversations with AI simply because I didn't like the questions I was being asked and it wanting personal information.
so now, I use it primarily for research as I find it can be very good for this. I was talking to a friend about this the other day and he says he doesn't interact with AI at all except for business because it helps his sound engineering a lot. But, in his personal life he never interacts with AI in any way.
However, you will notice a lot at my blog here that my research is partly through AI and partly through the internet and partly both. I find this works for me for blogging a lot. Also, often the Google AI I believe it is when I search for information regarding my ongoing research into (whatever I'm interested in at the moment) I often find is very useful in regard to adding links to nouns and subjects I'm writing about in a secondary way.
I find these new AI links useful about 75% of the time for myself so I figure it is about the same for my readers. Like I was writing about a UFO experience with regarding a flying saucer from another timeline from the future from 7028 AD from here on earth and meeting a man and a woman from that timeline in 1974 and working on building the 2nd timeline here on earth that we all presently live on so 5 billion people didn't have to die the very first month after all civilization ended on earth on the first timeline for about 3000 years or more because of the end of civilization on their timeline. ON their timeline something like England and Queen Elizabeth I wasn't until around 6000 AD on their timeline. However, it is true that once they got that far researchers were able to make sense of the 20th and 21st century through books and CDs and DVDs that weren't melted in the accidental end of human civilization on September 11th 2001 on the first timeline.
So, Thank God we didn't have to experience this this time of billions of people dying horribly even though they sent a video to my brain of this so I was screaming for about 5 minutes time until they finally stopped showing me 5 billion people screaming and dying and children melting and being blown away in Nuclear winds from bombs going off.
So, back to the title: Yes. Protecting Kids from AI and the emotionally, mental or feeble in some way is necessary so thousands to millions of people don't die unnecessarily from AI around the world. Enough have died already from AI and Autonomous robots like the Predator drone and other missiles and drones.
