Building things for money I found harder after I was 45 years old

I was building some outbuildings for a friend on land we were renting in Aromas on a 7 acre Ranch where we had a Shetland pony for our 4 year old daughter and a Pygmy Goat with horns named Barney and many fuzzy lop rabbits then that bred like rabbits do.

So, what I found at 45 was that after working about 4 to 6 hours in a day building stuff I would get injured in that I would step on a nail or hit my left thumb with a hammer while driving a nail. It was at this point where i realized I needed to be doing other things more and less building simply because being injured building things all the time isn't very useful to me at least.

Other people might make other decisions but basically owning businesses I always found more useful in the short and long run so even now my wife and I own a business and I'm 78 even though she is the CEO because she is only 70 at present.

So, practicality is really important in life if you want to live a long time. There is a time for everything but when that time is gone it's time to move on to something else.
