However, What's app is owned by Facebook so I wouldn't trust them not selling your information like they do regarding everything at facebook to anyone on earth.
So, if you are into safety and end to end encryption I would trust Signal more than What's App for this reason even though both supposedly have end to end encryption which is supposed to prevent people from hearing your worldwide conversations or reading your worldwide texts.
However, both people talking have to have What's App to talk on what's app and both people on earth have to have Signal for you to do this but both are free. So, a free App and a free phone and texting worldwide and you can also send pictures worldwide too through your texts and likely sounds of you talking or music in this form too that is supposed to be encrypted so no one hears or sees any of this but you and the other party you are sending it to.
