Supposedly, this stuff is the Cat's meow. I opened up the 4 doses that come in a package today and realized it wasn't as crazy as Ozempic was when I tried it. It comes in 4 epi-pen style containers that you do once a week for a month. So, you get one month's worth in your first package of Mounjaro. Everyone is raving about how well Mounjaro is working for them. Even our housekeeper's friend has lost a lot of weight after recovering from cancer. So, she came in the door and I had just given myself my first dose in my upper thigh. This thing is completely painless. All there was was a teeny drop of blood where I almost couldn't feel it at all when this sort of spring loaded epi-pen put the medicine in my upper thigh. So far so good!
I didn't like how Ozempic made me feel when I tried that because it completely changed my relationship with food in a way I didn't like. However, I haven't experienced what Mounjaro will do yet because I just injected my thigh about 1/2 hour ago.
