Under the laws of Missouri, the police officer could NOT be prosecuted given Missouri laws in this particular case.
So, even though it is admirable that people are demonstrating because of someone who is unarmed being shot worldwide, we may see many more people shot like this that are unarmed UNTIL the laws in places like Missouri are changed. This is also a given.
So, likely we are going to see protests around the world that are actually protests against the laws in Missouri, if we are to be realistic about what is happening here.
