We had been gone a week to Portland so we had two huge boxes of mail to retrieve from the post office. So, I drove one of our cars to the post office to pick up mail. At this point the water started to really pour out of the sky and still is right now as well. Before it was raining lightly but now it is really coming down about the last hour or so here on the Northern California coast. Things are looking green once again around here. Though the high is supposed to be 68 here today I don't think it will make that temperature because it is only 57 degrees Fahrenheit at 12:21 pm pst. But, we'll see.
I think Southern California likely is being hit even harder if you look at the epicenter of how this looks on the map.
